'Happy Days' From Terry Dales' family "There are many things, for which Dad will be remembered, but what we will never forget is Dad's funny sense of humour, Dad was certainly unique".... "Dad worked, schooled and lived in Alford for as long as we can remember. Dad has always loved Alford and Alford was where dad's heart was to be".... "Dad loved being around his special friends who he thought of so dearly, Mick, Fran, Johnny, Pete, Paul, Frank and everyone, Dad has left everlasting thoughts with a warm smile as he truly loved you all"... "The stories we were told would have us in so much laughter and disbelief. We have learnt so many things from our Dad and to appreciate his good qualities. The smallest of things would please my dad like early morning tea and feeding the birds watching them nest and flee. Dad loved and spent a lot of time in his garden this year". .. 1948-2007 "Dad put fun back into our life's what was missing for so many years, it wasn't the amount of time we spent together but the 'good quality of time' which shall be truly cherished forever... Dad was the happiest we had seen him for many years... Dad had many challenges to beat but at last he was at ease...Through the happiest, sadist, darkest and brightest of times in my Dad's life, it truly ended in peace"... "Dad is now free like his birds from the awful disease that he fought so hard to beat, till the end it was with dignity and then dad fell asleep peacefully...We are so proud of our Dad"... "All our memories of Dad are 'Happy Days' from all his family and he'll be sadly missed"... "If we could have one single wish and never have another it would simply be to have one hour and spend it with our Dad"... End with music by Bob Dylan....'Blowin in the Wind'...
